Founder

Graham McMullen

Graham is proud to be a local Bedfordshire businessman, born and bred in Luton from a humble background.

He has been in the IT office arena since 1987. Starting his business career in the SME world, he progressed onto working within a Blue Chip organisation and for a few years was the Sales & Marketing Director for Panasonic UK Business Products Division.

Graham started his own company in 1996, out of which The Admiral Group was born, an office technology-based organisation. Some of Admirals awards included being "Business of the Year" in 2003 awarded by The Chamber.

Admiral had 6 regional offices around the UK with almost 300 staff generating turnover of nearly £30 million. Since 2006, Graham has sold off subsidiaries when the market looked right to do so and 2012 saw the last of the 11 Admiral businesses being sold for an aggregate value in excess of £20 million.

After 18 years at the helm of Admiral, Graham has now embarked on his latest venture, which is to assist other business owners. The focus is on an area where he has had a wealth of hands on experience - buying and selling businesses. Hence the birth of Mercury M&A, working with Clive, who became his trusted adviser when he assisted Graham withy some of the Admiral transactions.
